March 10 – Hamburg-based full service forwarder and logistics specialist Militzer & Münch International (M&M) has added Thorsten Meincke to its managing board, effective August, 2010.
Meincke will focus on the sea freight and information technology sectors and will also hold the position of regional managing director for Asia and the Pacific Region. He has joined M&M from a position as senior vice president sales and marketing at Kühne + Nagel Management AG.
The 130 year old forwarding company handles heavy lift cargo throughout the EU, using a range of semi trailers, demountable tanks, low-loader Jumbo trailers and low-bed semi trailers. As part of its services, the company organises special permits for all OOG shipments, including police escorts where required.
