ATS inks TOTE partnership

ATS International, a division of Anderson Trucking Service (ATS), has entered into a strategic partnership with TOTE Maritime Puerto Rico for the provision of its equipment for shipping non-containerised cargo.

Shippers operating between the USA and Puerto Rico will be able to accommodate non-containerised cargo using the patented Breakbulk Boxx, launched by ATS in 2016, as well as the recently launched 53 ft flatracks. The Breakbulk Boxx and the 53 ft flatrack designs will be available exclusively through ATS International and TOTE Maritime.

Designed for in-gauge breakbulk cargo, the equipment allows companies to take advantage of the fast transit times and convenience of TOTE Maritime Puerto Rico's lo-lo services, says ATS.

"With more than four decades of experience in the US/Puerto Rico shipping lane, TOTE Maritime was a natural partner for us to introduce this exclusive lo-lo technology," said ATS chief operating officer, Brent Anderson.
