AVIC nets Deltamarin

October 18 - AVIC International Investments has signed an agreement to acquire the majority of the shares in Finland based consultancy, ship design and marine engineering company Deltamarin.

Singapore based AVIC International Investments is a part of the Beijing headquartered AVIC Group, a global Fortune 500 company with approximately 500,000 employees.

After the closing of the acquisition, Deltamarin's existing operations will continue as they are and the business will remain independent keeping the name and the brand of Deltamarin unchanged.
