BBC opens in Vietnam

July 31 - BBC Chartering will inaugurate a new office in Ho Chi Minh City, Vietnam, on August 1, 2015, to serve the country's burgeoning demand for project cargo, breakbulk and general cargo transportation.

"The strong expansion of the Vietnamese economy means increased investments and more project activity within the industrial sector of the country," said Svend Andersen, ceo of BBC Chartering. "This step allows to improve our project related trading activities in this region and to further tighten our Far East network for customers."

BBC Vietnam - the German carrier's 30th office - will be managed by Vu Dinh Khanh.
