Leer-headquartered multipurpose carrier, BBC Chartering, has launched a dedicated division for yacht transportation.

Branded as BBC Yacht Transport, the service will provide the global yachting community with access to the shipping line’s fleet of more than 160 multipurpose and heavy lift vessels.

The carrier is also able to provide supply chain solutions for manufacturers, and transportation to remote destinationsfor any type of yacht.

According to Svend Andersen, ceo of BBC Chartering, the carrier has been serving the yacht transportation sector since its formation 1997. “The yacht transport market has grown considerably over the last decades. Today we are excited to offer the industry the most direct access to our fleet and with that a lot more choice and a whole new service level,” he explained.
