Here is this week's round up of capital projects and logistics contracts.

USD3.6 trillion is expected to be invested in power generation equipment and related infrastructure in the Asia-Pacific region between now and 2030, according to a new Bloomberg New Energy Finance report, with approximately two thirds earmarked for renewable power projects.

Work began in 2003 on the 13.86 GW Xiluodu project, built on the Yangtze River in the southwestern Yunnan and Sichuan provinces. The developer, China Three Gorges Project Corporation (CTGPC), also commissioned the 5.9 GW Nuozhadu hydropower plant just last week and the 6.4 GW Xiangjiaba plant is scheduled to come online next month.
