Cargolux connects Oman

June 20 - Cargolux Airlines International has added another new destination to its freighter network - Muscat, Oman. Effective June 29, 2013 the new route will be served by one of Cargolux's B747-8 freighters.

The direct service connecting Luxembourg International airport and Muscat International airport has been launched to meet freighter capacity demand to fuel Oman's economic expansion, and to meet a sustained need for oil and gas equipment and spare parts.

Since the start of July 2013, Cargolux has rapidly extended its freighter network adding services linking Atlanta, USA and Munich, Germany; Ohio, USA with Hong Kong; and Luxembourg with Sao Paulo, Brazil.
