Crane Worldwide buys Pacorini Forwarding

June 23 - In Italy, the Pacorini Group has concluded the sale of its subsidiary Pacorini Forwarding to CWL International, a company within the US-based Crane Worldwide Logistics Group, a global player operating in the freight forwarding business.

"This decision will allow the Pacorini Group to seize new opportunities to develop and invest in the core businesses of soft commodities and non-ferrous metals, areas fundamental for our future growth worldwide," explains Enrico Pacorini, managing director of the Pacorini Group, pictured below.

HLPFI understands that the buyer sees the the acquisition as an opportunity to increase its presence in Italy and southern Europe and that Claudio Bassi, managing director of Pacorini Forwarding, and all its team will transfer to the Crane Worldwide organisation.
