December 6 - The UK P&I Club has appointed George Devereese as loss prevention advisor in London, UK.
Devereese joins from Edge Brokers London where he handled a wide variety of marine claims. He has more than a decade's worth of experience in the shipping and insurance industries.
Stuart Edmonston, director of loss prevention and ship inspections at the club said: "UK P&I Club's ground-breaking loss prevention programme is committed to safety and offsetting rising claims among members. George brings a wealth of shipping knowledge and experience to the team and is a welcome addition to our international operations."
