April 2 - Fairstar Heavy Transport NV (Fairstar) has appointed Hans Woltman to work alongside Mario Kerssens in Fairstar's commercial department.
Mr Woltman is an experienced heavy transport professional. Philip Adkins, CEO: "Hans has many years of sales experience in the offshore heavy transport industry. Fairstar intends to focus on a select group of customers. Our investment in additional sales resources will create a stronger platform for us to create high value solutions for complex offshore logistics problems."
In addition, Cristijn Sarvaas, member of the Management Board since 2005, has informed the Supervisory Board of Fairstar that he is considering stepping down from his position as Managing Director of Fairstar after the company's upcoming Annual General Meeting on 19 May 2009.
