Foord up at JSA Global

August 9 - UK based liner agency JSA Global has named John Foord as director, with immediate effect.

Foord, who most recently served as business development manager at Grange Shipping, has extensive experience in the shipping industry, both at sea and on shore.

He takes on the new role following the recent passing away of John Van Bergen after a short battle with cancer.

"We were very sad to report recently the passing of John Van Bergen, he was a truly great man and will be sadly missed by us all and could never be replaced," said JSA Global ceo Andy Thorne.

"However we have to move on and we are delighted with appointment of John Foord. His experience in the industry will be invaluable, I am confident that JSA Global is in safe hands."

Part of the Kestrel Group, JSA Global acts as liner agent for NileDutch, Iscont Lines and W.E.C. Lines.
