Gibson to drive development of GAC oil and gas hub

November 4 - At GAC, Steve Gibson has been appointed oil & gas business manager, Europe Global Hub Services, to drive the development of a dedicated hub service for oil and gas customers throughout the region.

Group vice president, Europe, Ivo Verheyen explained that through Gibson, GAC will endeavour to help customers within the oil and gas sector deliver their strategies with more specialist services and support from GAC offices throughout Europe and beyond.

Verheyen says: "Steve's experience in global energy hubs like Houston and Aberdeen and proven expertise, dynamism, resolve and enthusiasm make him the ideal man to take GAC's services for the sector to the next level."

Gibson continues to be based at GAC's quayside office and warehouses at Aberdeen, where he has worked for the last three years, most recently as general manager, Oil & Gas.
