ISS appoints Mackay

February 4 - Inchcape Shipping Services (ISS) has appointed David Mackay as senior vice president of its Africa region.

Based in Mombasa, Kenya, Mackay will have operational management responsibility for eight countries in the region, with ambitious plans for more country openings in the coming year.

Mackay will manage an extensive portfolio of marine solutions, alongside supporting colleagues across all divisions, exploring and developing new business opportunities in the offshore, freight forwarding, liner, dry bulk, naval, government, NGO and humanitarian logistics sectors.

Mackay joined ISS in 1996 as general manager of its Kenyan division.
