May 22 - Inchcape Shipping Service (ISS) has appointed Matthew Phelps as senior vice president of procurement and operations integration.
Phelps will be based in the UK and will report to Suren Thadani, chief operations officer of integration services at ISS.
With 30 years' experience in logistics and supply chain management, Phelps will manage the implementation of a number of strategic globally enabling initiatives and projects such as regional operations centres, shared service centres for procurement and continuous improvement initiatives across all business units within ISS.
