Kuntz back at SAL

January 18 - SAL Heavy Lift has appointed Jürgen Kuntz as the new head of its Asia desk in Hamburg.

Kuntz has over 15 years of experience in the heavy lift shipping industry in China, setting up the first overseas office for SAL in Shanghai in 2001.

Having served as general manager of SAL in China for ten years, Kuntz left the company in 2011 to become general manager of BBC Chartering in China.

In his new role in Hamburg, Kuntz is responsible for strengthening and expanding the company's Asia-related business, which includes maintaining and expanding key client relationships, as well as developing new business opportunities.

"After all those years in Asia, I am very happy to return to the new (old) team," said Kuntz.
