Marler makes the cut

January 25 - The Port of Vancouver, USA has appointed Julianna Marler as permanent chief executive officer (ceo).

HLPFI reported in July 2016 the appointment of Marler as interim ceo following the departure of Todd Coleman, and the port's plans to begin a national search for a permanent ceo in October 2016.

Brian Wolfe, president of the port's board of commissioners, said of the appointment: "I believe Julianna is best suited to take us forward and realise the vision this port has for connecting with the community and bringing economic benefit to our region."
