Maxim completes Coast acquisition

June 12 - Maxim Crane Works has completed the acquisition of Coast Crane Company, an indirect subsidiary of Essex Rental Corp.

The transaction, which Maxim and Essex announced earlier this year, was approved by the stockholders of Essex on June 5, 2017.

Maxim, a coast-to-coast provider of comprehensive lifting services in the USA, will begin integrating Coast with its existing business.

In addition to the Coast acquisition, Maxim Crane continues its Florida expansion with the appointment of Lance Lotz as branch manager of a new location in Tampa.

Lotz, who has nearly 25 years of crane and rigging experience, will lead the expansion in the Tampa, Florida region and serve Maxim's client base along the Gulf Cost.
