Project Professionals Group strengthens China links

December 05 - The Project Professionals Group has strengthened its position in Southern China with the appointment of Hong Kong-based Wangfoong Logistics Ltd.

Kevin Stephens, the general manager of the dedicated project freight forwarding organisation, said the appointment took the PPG's global representation to 125 members in 89 countries.

He says that Wangfoong Logistics had excellent heavy lift capabilities on land and sea and is able to provide special equipment including floating cranes with lifting capabilities of up to 500 tons.

The company operates its own barges and vessels for container movement as well as heavy project shipments. All of its barges are equipped with derricks and it also operates its own river port terminal in Hong Kong.
