Ritchie Bros acquires Mascus

February 19 - Industrial auctioneer Ritchie Bros has acquired online equipment listing service Mascus International Holding.

Ritchie Bros says that the acquisition will expand the breadth of equipment distribution and management solutions that the auctioneer can offer its customers.

Amsterdam based Mascus operates an online equipment listing service, with over 360,000 items for sale. The website also provides equipment sellers with a variety of business tools and software solutions.

Mascus claims to have the largest online market presence in Europe for heavy machinery and trucks.
