Thorleifsson rejoins SAL

October 5 - Hamburg headquartered shipping line SAL Heavy Lift has appointed Sune Thorleifsson as head of its project department.

Thorleifsson joined SAL in 2004 and spent five years working in Rotterdam and Singapore. Until 2012, he was responsible for managing SAL's project department. Between 2012 and 2015 he served as project director at both Combi Lift and BigLift.

He returned to SAL Heavy Lift on October 1, 2015. "I'm very pleased that I have been given the opportunity to work together with my 'new' old colleagues, and am looking forward to promoting our safe and excellent service in many years to come", said Thorleifsson.
