Toll to power up Santos

February 24 - Toll Group has been awarded a suite of contracts with oil and gas producer Santos, with a forecasted revenue in excess of AUD275 million (USD247 million) over five years.

The scope of Toll's work will include infield and national freight support for Santos' exploration drilling and production operations in the Copper Basin, crude haulage in the Mereenie oilfield, line haul in northwest Western Australia, and ongoing support for Santos' Queensland GLNG operations.

Toll Global Resources' chief executive officer, David Jackson said that Toll was excited to continue providing logistics services to one of Australia's largest independent oil and gas companies: "It shows quality logistics support for remote and difficult locations is possible, and it should encourage other companies to invest in operations in Central Australia."
