UAE distributor for Modulift

August 10 - Modulift, a leading supplier of spreader beams and heavy lifting equipment, has appointed Alnasr Technical Trading Agencies as exclusive distributor in the United Arab Emirates.

Despite already having established a significant presence in the UAE, Modulift said it was keen to appoint a local agent.

Sarah Spivey, Modulift's managing director, said: "With a trusted distributor, stock can be held in the UAE and dispatched more quickly.

"This will allow us to meet customers' lifting requirements in the shortest time possible."

Modulift said Abu Dhabi-based ATTA has an "exemplary record" in a number of fields, especially oil and gas, and is approved by the Abu Dhabi National Oil Company.

ATTA received their first delivery of Modulift stock in June and are already sold out of several sizes.

The Modulift range comprises 16 systems which provide lifting capacity for weights between 2 - 5,000 tonnes and lengths from 200mm - 53m.
