Serving the Caspian
August 5 - The St Petersburg-based North Western Shipping Company is, according to reports in the Russian media, towing a new non-propelled barge from St Petersburg to Ravenna in Italy where it will load equipment destined for the construction of an oil and gas complex on the shelf of the Caspian Sea.
During this year's summer navigation, the barge and its accompanying tugboats will deliver heavyweight cargoes from the ports of Italy to the ports of the North Caspian.
