November 20 - From early next year, the London Stansted office of Maximus
Air Services UK, which is part of the Maximus Air Cargo group, will
incorporate the operations of Abu Dhabi Aviation (ADA) and Royal Jet.
The move will strengthen ADA Group ties and generate synergies. ADA consists
of Maximus Air Cargo, ADA and Royal Jet.
The integrated office will allow customers easy and immediate access to one
of the Middle East's leading aviation groups. Maximus is the largest all cargo
airline in the region, Royal Jet is Middle East's leading private jet operator
and Abu Dhabi Aviation is the region's largest commercial helicopter and fixed
wing aircraft operator.
Nader Ahmed Al Hammadi, managing director, Abu Dhabi Aviation Company
welcomed the move. "This is a good opportunity to join forces and offer our
services more readily in the UK and Europe. The Abu Dhabi Aviation Group is a
formidable group with a combined fleet of approximately 90 aircraft."
Adding to this Shane O'Hare, president and CEO of Royal Jet said: "Royal Jet
works with a number of key UK brokers and customers and this venture will help
us increase market share. We welcome working alongside our partners to offer a
one-stop-shop which is ideally suited to niche customers."
Commenting on the development, Fathi Hilal Buhazza, Maximus Air Cargo
president and CEO said "Maximus is pleased that Abu Dhabi Aviation and Royal Jet
will join us in our UK office. Abu Dhabi Aviation Group represents some of the region's finest aviation providers and the setting up of this office demonstrates the sharp strategy underpinned by synergy which has made the member companies key players in their fields."
