November 10 - Liebherr Maritime Cranes has delivered three LHM 550 mobile harbour cranes to ports on the Baltic Sea - one to the Swedish Port of Helsingborg and two to the Port of St Petersburg in Russia.

A fully-assembled Liebherr LHM 550 crane was delivered by barge from the crane manufacturer's facility in the German Port of Rostock to Helsingborg, before being rolled onto the port's new quay.

The crane is equipped with a twin lift container spreader that can handle two 20 ft containers at the same time. Alongside its container handling capabilities, the crane can also be adapted for project cargo and other specialised lift applications.

The two additional LHM 550 cranes were delivered to the Port of St Petersburg from Liebherr's Rostock hub on board Meriaura's heavy-duty deck cargo carrier Meri.

All three cranes are equipped with electric prime movers.
