March 6 - BBC Chartering is currently engaged in the delivery of large air cooled condensers (ACC) from Phu My in Vietnam to Darwin, Australia, which will form a key part of the Ichthys LNG project.

The Ichthys LNG project is one of the most significant oil and gas discoveries in the world, and is located in the Browse Basin approximately 200 km offshore western Australia. A joint venture between Inpex (operator), major partner Total and the Australian subsidiaries of Tokyo Gas, Osaka Gas, Chubu Electric Power and Toho Gas, are all engaged in the recovery of the energy assets.

BBC Chartering has mobilised its heavy lift vessels BBC Pearl and BBC Coral to deliver the ACCs. Each piece measures 20 m high and tips the scales at 235 tonnes; the units are being transported three-at-a-time on the deck of each vessel.
