April 24 - Wallenius Wilhelmsen Logistics Abnormal Load Services (WWL ALS) has arranged for the delivery of two 38.4-tonne Bomag 772 land fill compactors from Hull to Boppard in Germany.
The machines, which had the dimensions 9.53 m x 3.8 m x 3.82 m, were transported from Ireland to WWL ALS' yard in Hull, from where the cargo was shipped to Rotterdam before being delivered by road to the Bomag factory in Boppard.
WWL ALS arranged for the delivery of the compactors on five-axle low loader trailers, due to the combination of the machines' weight and height.
The machines left WWL ALS' yard accompanied by an escort car.
