Bonnesen up at Intermarine

September 22 - Effective immediately, Intermarine has named Lars Bonnesen as chartering director, Europe.

Bonnesen co-founded Scan Trans in 1993 and served as the company's managing director until its merger with Intermarine in 2012.

During his time with Intermarine, Bonnesen has been instrumental in developing the heavy lift shipping line's chartering trainee programme and mentoring up and coming talent, said the US based company.

Ask Munck, managing director of worldwide chartering services, added: "For the last two years Lars has been focused on successfully growing the volume of cargo we move from Europe into Africa - we look forward to our continued growth throughout Europe under his leadership."
