US supplier of lifting equipment, CraneWorks, has placed an order for eight Demag cranes, including three AC 45 city models, two AC 220-5 and three AC 100-4 all terrain cranes.

According to CraneWorks ceo, Keith Ayers, the company has seen an increase in demand for all terrain cranes and will add the models to its inventory in Denver, Colorado.

The AC 45 city models have a lifting capacity of 50 tons (45 tonnes) and a carrier length of 23.6 ft (7.2 m).

The three AC 100-4 all terrain cranes feature a lifting capacity of 120 tons (100 tonnes) and a main boom length of 164.4 ft (50.1 m), while the 245-ton (220-tonne) capacity AC 220-5 models feature a main boom length of (255.9 ft) 78 m.
