July 26 - Trafiver Logistics SA de CV has joined the Project Cargo Network (PCN) as its third and final representative in Mexico.

Trafiver Logistics was formed in 2000 and now employs 60 staff across 10 locations covering the four main regions in Mexico: Mexico/USA borderline, Pacific side ports, Atlantic side ports and the Mexico City area.
 
The company has a strong background in heavy lift and project cargo shipments, demonstrated recently by handling an over-dimensional generator turbine for he Mexican government's electricity company.


Trafiver Logistics also handled the import and export of heavy platforms used in the Chicontepec well drilling project.

According to reports in the international media earlier this week, Mexico will invest more than USD20 billion in infrastructure developments, including roads, train lines and ports this year. Mexican president Pena Nieto has said: "On top of the MXN123 billion (USD9.66 billion) which is already in train for this half of the year, we will reach estimated investment in infrastructure of MXN310 billion (USD23.08 billion) this year." The Mexican president also hinted that Mexico's long awaited six-year plan for investment will be unveiled over the course of the next few days.
