April 25 - In Germany, Zimmermann Autokrane, Riga Mainz, Scholpp and Regel have all recently invested in new cranes for their respective fleets.

Zimmermann Autokrane has taken delivery of a Liebherr LTM 1100-4.2 mobile crane, which managing director Stefan Zimmermann says is flexible in use in the load capacity classes from 60 to 100 tonnes. The company, which offers mobile crane rental, heavy and special transport services, as well as crane planning services, has a fleet of 13 Liebherr mobile cranes with capacities of up to 250 tonnes.

Meanwhile, fellow German heavy transport specialist, SCHOLPP Kran & Transport has acquired a new Liebherr LTM 1350-6.1 mobile crane to replace an older crane of the same type, as part of a package of six new Liebherr mobile cranes. They include one LTM 1070-4.2, two LTM 1100-4.2 machines and an LTM 1130-5.1. In addition, two LTM 1060-3.1 cranes will follow in the first six months of 2016.

Managing director Martin Scholpp said: "We are so delighted with the LTM 1350-6.1 that we have bought the same model again, but now with new technologies such as VarioBase and an engine with Stage 4 emissions."

Liebherr has also delivered its 500th Liebherr LTM 1500-8.1 mobile crane, this one going to crane and heavy haulage contractor Riga Mainz to replace a 14-year-old model of the same type

Finally Albert Regel Logistik, which provides mobile crane rental and heavy haulage, as well as industrial relocation and assembly services, has extended its fleet with the purchase of a Liebherr LTM 1300-6.2 mobile crane.
