November 11 - Globalink has handled the delivery of three 650-tonne mills for a gold mine project from China to Balkhash, Kazakhstan.

Due to the dimensions of the cargo, the mills has to be disassembled into components, with the largest part weighing 50 tonnes and measuring over 150 cu m.

Globalink packed all of the cargo in China and loaded it on to low bed trailers using special cranes, before it was moved from Luoyang city in the western Henan province to Khorgos station on the Sino-Kazakh border.

At Khorgos station, the cargo was cleared and shipped across the border for its journey to the job site in Kazakhstan, where it was swiftly unloaded for the customer.

Globalink is a member of the Global Project Logistics Network (GPLN).
