July 11 - Trailer manufacturer Scheuerle, a member to the Cargo Equipment Experts (CEE) network, has provided significant transport equipment to deliver vital equipment for Alpha Ventus, Germany's first offshore wind park.
The park is situated 45 km offshore from the island of Borkum in the North Sea. The consignment consisted of twelve sets of rotor blades, loaded at Eemshaven in Groningen, Netherlands. The blades had been transported to the quayside on Scheuerle SPMTs (pictured below).

CY Shipping and BigLift Shipping will add two more heavy transport vessels (HTV) to their joint fleet, bringing the number of open deck carriers in their roster to six.
