November 13 - Wiesbauer has added a fifth Terex AC 700 all-terrain crane to its fleet.

"As far as we're concerned, there's no other model on the market that compares to it - the AC 700 is tremendously easy to transport, set up, and operate, and is simply a cut above any other crane in its capacity class," said Wiesbauer general manager Thomas Wiesbauer.

He also praised the crane's lightweight components, as they enable the company not only to achieve short setup times, but also to use a small - and therefore cost-effective - assist crane. In addition, said Wiesbauer, the AC 700 has an excellent resale value, which is another selling point for the company.

Immediately after the handover of the new crane, the Terex AC 700 was delivered to a large job site in order to help set up a tower crane, before being moved to a nuclear power plant to perform assembly work.

"Thanks to its large capacity range of 400 to 700 tonnes, we can use it to set up cranes and to take care of nuclear power plant, concrete, and bridge construction work," added Thomas Wiesbauer.
