June 26 - US full-service crane rental and sales company, Imperial Crane is helping to assemble a new hydrogen plant for Linde Gas North America supplying hydrogen to the adjacent Citgo refinery.

The major components, arriving on site each day, are being lifted by Imperial's 300 tonne Link Belt and five of its new Link Belt RT cranes.

Lifting work by the Illinois-based Imperial, including hoisting of components such as storage vessels and pipe modules is scheduled to be completed mid August. Once finished, the plant will be used to aide in the production of alternative fuel sources.

Meanwhile, Imperial Crane, which is celebrating its 40th anniversary, has divested itself of a quantity of high quality new and used cranes to create space for newly purchased cranes; the equipment will be sold through equipment and industrial auctioneer Ritchie Bros. The auction, being held July 16th and 17th, is drawing worldwide attention. Imperial is selling off 22 of the 120 cranes purchased over the last two years.
