November 3 - Illinois-based US crane retailer and rental company Imperial Crane Services has taken delivery of its third crawler crane, a 285 tonne SCC2500C, from Chinese manufacturer Sany Heavy Industry.

The Midwest distributor of crawler cranes has taken delivery of its third crawler after partnering with Sany earlier this year.

The first delivery, a 352 tonne SCC3200 crane, was received in March and has been successfully working in a refinery; the second crane, which arrived in May, was the first of two 285 tonne SCC2500C crawlers; the second SCC2500C has just been delivered.

All three cranes have come complete with luffer and all attachments; all are available for both rental and sale.

The SCC3200 and SCC2500C are strong, versatile crawler cranes with Cummins Tier III engines and Kawasaki hydraulic components. The 3200 has a maximum boom length of over 84m. With jib extensions the length can reach 103m and offers a luffing jib up to 66m, bringing the maximum height to 134m.
