January 21 - Intermarine has taken delivery of the Industrial Echo, the fourth in a series of four heavy lift newbuildings which have joined the company's fleet in the past 12 months.

Delivered in Portugal in mid January, the vessel sailed for Hamburg, Bilbao, and Gijon where the ship is loading project cargoes for Brazil and Uruguay.

Nominated as the E-Class series, these 10,000 DWT vessels feature dual 250 tonne cranes that may be combined for 500 tonne lifts.

With an overall length of 139 m and beam of 20 m, the ships have a similar hull design as the seven Century and six Diamond class vessels operated in Intermarine's services, but with increased cargo carrying capacity.
