April 11 - German equipment manufacturer Liebherr International Group has seen its turnover grow by 9 percent year-on-year in 2012 to EUR9.1 billion (USD8.9 billion).

In its construction machinery and mining equipment divisions, Liebherr's sales grew nine percent year-on-year in 2012 to EUR5.87 billion (USD7.67 billion).
 
Turnover in its mobile cranes division grew by 12 percent to EUR1.94 billion (USD2.54 billion) - a EUR200 million (USD261.4 million) boost.
 
Sales revenue for Liebherr's earthmoving, tower crane and concrete technology divisions in 2012 remained almost static in comparison to 2011. Earthmoving equipment generated EUR2.06 billion (USD2.69 billion) in revenue, whilst its tower cranes and concrete technology arms contributed EUR580 million (USD758 million).
 
In areas outside of construction machinery and mining equipment, Liebherr Group achieved revenues of EUR3.22 billion (USD4.21 billion) in 2012, equivalent to a nine percent improvement over 2011.
 
According to Liebherr Group, it recorded net earnings of EUR540 million (USD705.78 million) in 2012, a 12 percent increase over 2011.
