September 25 - Germany-based Rothmund Kran und Montage has expanded its crane fleet with the acquisition of three Liebherr mobile cranes.

Rothmund has taken delivery of a 35-tonne capacity LTM 1030-2.1, a 350-tonne capacity LTM 1350-6.1, and a 100-tonne capacity LTR 1100 telescopic crawler crane.

Heiko Brückner, managing director of Rothmund, said: "All three cranes fully satisfy our need to extend our crane fleet. The 350-tonne crane offers tremendous lifting capacity with its Y telescopic boom guying. That makes it the best crane for our company and now also the largest in our fleet."

Brückner explains that the newly acquired LTR 1100, which Liebherr says is a fast-erecting crane that is able to drive on the road with a part ballast of 2.3 tonnes, will be utilised for concreting work or on long-term construction sites.
