May 24 - The 2010 American Wind Energy Association (AWEA) Conference in Dallas, Texas, May 23-26, 2010 is proving very interesting for project forwarders and others involved in the logistics of wind farm development.

The Port Corpus Christi is showcasing its capabilities to handle wind power energy components at the conference which, with more than 23,000 industry leaders, is the largest conference in attendance of wind energy professionals from around the world.

With the movement of wind components by KCS earlier this month, Port Corpus Christi can now offer direct Class-1 rail service from BNSF, UP & KCS. The Port's facilities offer paved open-storage yards as a flexible solution when ship schedules and project construction timelines do not match up.
