June 10 - All Manitowoc customers can now enjoy free access to www.3DLiftPlan.com, as the result of a new partnership between Manitowoc Cranes and A1A Software.
The 3D Lift Plan website assists Manitowoc customers in lift planning, crane selection, rigging planning and ground-bearing pressure optimisation. It allows users to create detailed, accurate lift plans in minutes, utilising state-of-the-art 3D graphics and a powerful crane selection algorithm.
Customers can use the application to plan lifts with Manitowoc, Grove, National Crane, and Shuttlelift cranes. It is accessible from any computer with Internet access, is updated automatically, and customers do not need additional CAD software, special training or hardware to use the service.
Dave Hull, senior vice president of global sales and marketing for Manitowoc Cranes, said that access to 3D Lift Plan gives Manitowoc's customers a valuable tool for lift planning solutions, and that it reflects the company's drive to maximise return on investment for all of its customers.
