March 30 - Mexico Natie has ordered two reach stackers and six forklifts from Konecranes, which will bring its fleet of Konecranes lift trucks to 20 machines.

According to Konecranes, the machines will increase Mexico Natie's handling capacity at three different terminals in the Port of Antwerp, Belgium. Across its warehouses, Mexico Natie handles a range of cargo including general cargo, dangerous goods, steel and wood products, and project cargo.

Mexico Natie's lift truck order includes both long and short wheel-based lift truck models.

The order includes a SMV 17-1200 C which is a 17-ton (15.4-tonne) capacity forklift with Konecranes' box type chassis, a special heavy-duty lift mast and a reinforced carriage.

All forklifts will come with a customised quick-release system, allowing Mexico Natie to use its existing attachments and change between them easily.

The order is due for delivery in April 2017.
