Ontario-based Modern Crane has received Canada’s first 300-tonne capacity Demag AC 300-6 all-terrain crane.
The company purchased the unit from Terex’s distributor, Cropac Equipment, and plans to use it to for the assembly of tower cranes.
The six-axle crane features an 80 m main boom, designed to perform lifts at heights up to 78 m. When the main boom is fully extended, the Demag AC 300-6 has a lifting capacity of 15 tonnes.
