Orllati opts for Faymonville

Switzerland's Orllati Group, which specialises in major construction works, has taken delivery of a four-axle MultiMax semi-trailer from Faymonville.

The loading platform of the four-axle trailer measures 8.6 m in length and can be extended by 2.9 m. The hydraulic widening feature allows the platform to be extended from 2.5 m to 3.2 m.

Gjevgjet Orllati, director of Orllati Logistics, said that due to the trailer's hydraulic ramps, "we no longer have to unhitch the semi-trailer to load it. It's multi-functional and can transport a variety of machines such as wheeled loaders, articulated dumpers or crawler excavators."

According to Faymonville, in the folded state, the double ramp does not form part of the total length of the unit under European Regulations, falling within the legal limit of 16.5 m.

The trailer also features anti-corrosion protection, which Faymonville says allows the trailer to be operational for as long as possible.
