December 6 - Grupo Mexico Mining Company has taken delivery of its first Terex AC 350/6 all terrain crane from Megamax, the regional Terex Cranes distributor.

With a 64 m long main boom, maximum system length of 126 m and a capacity of 350 tonnes, the 6-axle crane, which is fitted with Terex's IC-1 control system, is currently on site at the Cananea copper mine in Sonora, Mexico.

Its main tasks are moving and maintaining heavy mining equipment, such as crushers, screeners, drilling machines and trucks.

"In an industry that demands the highest levels of safety, we chose this crane not only for its capacity, reach and flexibility, but because of its safety features," said Armando Juarez, Grupo Mexico's operations manager.
