December 16 - The Freight Co has coordinated the transport of a boiler from its manufacturing plant in Thailand's Chachoengsao province to the Port of Sri Racha in Chonburi.
The 63-tonne boiler, which measured 10.73 m x 5.84 m x 4.56 m, was delivered from the manufacturing facility to the Thai port at night on a hydraulic drop deck trailer under police escort.
The scope of The Freight Co's work included positioning the cranes at the factory; loading and lashing the boiler onto the trailer; delivering the cargo to Sri Racha port; and helping to secure a vessel to ship the boiler from Thailand to its final destination in Auckland, New Zealand.
The Freight Co is a member of the Global Project Logistics Network (GPLN).
