June 5 - Oklahoma-based Turner Bros LLC, a leading provider of integrated lifting and specialised transportation solutions to industrial, energy and windpower companies, has commissioned a new flagship crane, the Liebherr LTM 11200-9.1.

The LTM11200-9.1 is an award winning design recently introduced by Liebherr and claimed to be the world's most powerful mobile crane. It has a maximum lifting capacity of 1322 tonnes at an 8ft radius. The telescopic boom can reach from 60ft to 328ft and the lattice jib 79ft to 413ft. The maximum tip height is 630ft and maximum radius is 425ft.

Turner Bros claims that the benefits of using the LTM11200-9.1 crane compared to similar class conventional cranes are that it provides greater configuration flexibility, reduced crane mobilisation/de-mobilisation time, minimised component assembly and disassembly, faster rig up/rig down time, a reduced footprint for improved mobility, fewer man-hours for mobilisation and assembly providing a safer process, as well as safer operation due to 'designed-in' state-of-the-art safety systems.

According to Jack Shubert CEO, "This is an important addition to our crane fleet and we are pleased to be able to offer the latest in mobile crane technology to our customers. Utilisation of the LTM 11200 will provide a reliable, efficient and overall safer operation. We will be able to complete lifts in a shorter amount of time which will help improve our customer's bottom lines. Throughout our history we have always taken pride in offering new innovations to the marketplace and this crane represents a continuation of that commitment."
