Modulift partners with Maxirig

Australia’s Maxirig has signed a deal with below-the-hook equipment manufacturer, Modulift, to stock its full range of standard modular spreader beams.

Maxirig provides equipment to a wide range of clients in the mining, construction, manufacturing and oil and gas sectors across Australia. The Melbourne-headquartered company will stock a full inventory of standard spreader beams up to 100 tonnes in capacity.

According to Sarah Spivey, managing director at Modulift, the first shipment of spreader beams is scheduled to arrive in July 2018.

“Maxirig is already well established in the region and boasts a range of products that complements our own. A vibrant construction sector is just one marketplace that is expected to generate immediate demand for the spreader beams,” said Spivey

Each spreader beam design in the MOD series has been proof load tested atModulift’s in-house compression test rig and designed in accordance with multiple global industry standards, including Australian Compliance AS 4991 - 2004: Lifting Devices.
