ACE Belgium readies for launch

ACE Belgium Freighters is preparing to launch its scheduled and charter services out of Liège Airport after receiving its air operator’s certificate (AOC) from the Belgian Civil Aviation Authority.

The company said it would commence commercial cargo operations from Belgium shortly with scheduled flights to New York. Its fleet includes one Boeing 747-400, with plans to add a second aircraft within the year.

Challenge Air Cargo will sell ACE Belgium Freighter’s aircraft capacity; it has already opened offices in France, the Netherlands and Belgium, with plans for an office in Germany in the pipeline.
