ALE expands jacking capacity in Europe

ALE is expanding its fleet of jacking solutions with the delivery of a multi-point Mega Jack 300 system to its UK branch, bringing the total number of towers in the company’s global fleet to over 20.



ALE said that it is expanding its Mega Jack 300 fleet throughout Europe to accommodate upcoming civil engineering projects.

The system is designed in-house by ALE’s research and development (R&D) department for a cost-effective solution to jack-upheavy modules on sites where space is restricted or congested.

Russ Jones, the company’s UK director, explained: “We have secured several civil projects [in the UK] where this system is ideally suited; it will demonstrate the system’s strength and capabilities to optimise project schedules.”

In early 2019, ALE said there are a number of bridge projects across the UK that will requireits jacking capabilities.
